Rob Chuchla is a seasoned private credit investor and capital markets professional with a career spanning leading global platforms and a broad range of industries. Prior to founding Lane Four Capital Partners, Rob was a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Private Credit Group, investing across business services, industrials, healthcare, energy, consumer, and technology and managing capital markets execution for the group.
Rob’s background includes roles in Ares Management’s middle market private credit strategy and serving as a founding member of EIG Global Energy Partners’ inaugural global private debt fund. He started his career in investment banking at Harris Williams.
He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Financial Engineering from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar. Rob is an All-American swimmer.
Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and English black labrador retriever, Watson, as well as swimming, reading, hiking, running, skiing, fly fishing, and hunting.
Robert Buckwalter is a Partner and Co-Founder of Lane Four Capital Partners. Prior to Lane Four, Robert was a Director at Alliance Bernstein Private Credit Investors (“AB-PCI”), where he managed direct private credit and equity investments across multiple industry verticals including business services, distribution, healthcare, oil & gas, software and technology, transportation and logistics, and waste. Robert was also principally responsible for managing the fund’s equity co-investment vehicles and helped launch AB-PCI’s NAV Lending program.
Before joining AB-PCI, Robert worked for Denham Capital, an energy-focused private equity firm. He started his career in JPMorgan’s Leveraged Finance investment banking group.
He holds a BA in Finance and Spanish from Texas Christian University and a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters as well as fly-fishing, golf, hiking, hunting, skiing, reading, tennis, and travelling.
Taylor Cheatham is an experienced private credit investor with a career spanning a broad range of industries and end markets.
Prior to joining Lane Four Capital Partners as a founding team member, Taylor was an Associate in Goldman Sachs’ Private Credit Group, where she supported underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management activities for investments across the consumer, business services, technology, industrials, and healthcare sectors. Taylor’s background also includes a role in Crestline Investors’ direct lending strategy.
Taylor graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. Taylor was a nationally accomplished swimmer.
Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and her French Bulldog, Olive, as well as reading, travelling, hiking, and Pilates.
Dhruv Rungta is an experienced capital markets and workout professional with a career spanning across both advisory and credit/equity investment roles focused on a broad range of industries and end-markets.
Prior to joining Lane Four Capital Partners as a founding team member, Dhruv was a cross-product generalist at Ducera Partners where he worked across the platform’s Capital Markets, Restructuring, and M&A strategies with experience spanning healthcare, energy, technology, and consumer end-markets. At Ducera, Dhruv supported the buildout of the firm’s San Francisco office as an inaugural team member of the SF team.
Dhruv holds a Masters of Public Policy and a B.A. in Cognitive Science (concentrated in Computer Science and Linguistics) from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar. In addition, Dhruv is a Moelis Fellow at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and is an All-State Ohio swimmer.
Outside of work, Dhruv is avidly engaged in reading, art collection, Latin dance, travelling, podcasts, and enjoying the performing arts.
Nic Forman is an analyst at L4CP and joined the firm at inception. Nic’s transaction experience spans multiple industries including industrials, business services, aerospace & defense, technology, and healthcare. Nic started his career in commercial real estate before obtaining a graduate degree.
He holds a B.S. and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
Nic enjoys all things surrounding the University of Texas Athletics, as well as Skiing, Hunting, and playing pick-up basketball.
